Canada’s 150th birthday is a year of celebration, and is also the year we unite Canada’s northern and southern communities through aviation and education! The Canadian Arctic Aviation Tour, along with the help of Canadians such as you, will assist 15 talented pilots to fly 16,000 nautical miles to perform air shows and flybys, bringing the North into our celebrations. This historic project will bring new education material into classrooms, inspire youth in over 97 communities North of 60 and bridge the disconnect between the south and our northern friends.

- EDUCATION -

The CAAT team is working with school boards across Canada to introduce new curriculum into schools. Students from Southern Canada will be more connected to students in the North like never before. Awareness of communities and life north of 60 will start at a younger age and opportunities for youth in the North will be increased. Through education we will unite young Canadians and help them to truly understand all cultures that make up the Canadian fabric. This portion of the project is the legacy we hope to achieve.

- AVIATION -

The Canadian Arctic Aviation Tour intends to set the world record for the longest series of air shows north of 60. These performances will brave challenges such as weather, terrain and limited resources to reach Canadians who have never seen such a sight in the arctic before! Performances start in the West and continue to the most northern inhabited place in the Arctic circle before travelling down the unforgiving North Atlantic coast to Labrador and across Canada to return home. This endeavor will truly be coast-to-coast-to-coast.
